Beautifully planned and designed by LB Events, their wedding was filled with dreamy shades of blush, pink, mauve, and lavender. Their day was the perfect blend of elegance, romance, and joyful celebration!
Getting Ready at Calamigos Ranch
One of the many advantages of planning an Oak Room Wedding at Calamigos Ranch is the convenience of getting ready on-site. Sydney spent the morning in one of Calamigos Ranch’s beautiful Guest Ranch Suites, surrounded by her bridesmaids and closest family members.
The peaceful atmosphere allowed everyone to relax and soak in the excitement of the day while preparing for the celebration ahead.
A Private First Look and Heartfelt Vows
Before the festivities began, Sydney and Aaron chose to share a private first look tucked away among the ranch’s picturesque grounds. These intimate moments are always some of our favorites to capture, and theirs was especially meaningful.
Following their first look, the couple exchanged personal vows privately, reading them aloud to one another before the ceremony. This quiet moment gave them a chance to connect, reflect, and fully embrace the significance of the day before joining their guests.
Sunset Ceremony at the Waterfall
Because their ceremony was scheduled during golden hour, we photographed the majority of their portraits beforehand, allowing Sydney and Aaron to fully enjoy the incredible sunset ceremony.
Their ceremony took place in front of the iconic Calamigos Ranch waterfall, one of the most sought-after ceremony locations for an Oak Room Wedding at Calamigos Ranch. The setting was elevated even further by the breathtaking floral design from Creative Light Designs.
A stunning floral installation of blush, mauve, lavender, and pink blooms cascaded from the ceremony arch above them, creating an incredibly romantic focal point as they exchanged vows. With the warm November sunset filtering through the trees and the sound of the waterfall in the background, the atmosphere felt absolutely magical.
A Custom Seating Display That Took Guests’ Breath Away
One of the most memorable design elements from the day was the couple’s custom seating chart, beautifully crafted by Paper Cliche.
Guests were welcomed by a sign that read, “Take My Breath Away,” while each escort card was individually hand-lettered in elegant calligraphy and suspended among delicate sprigs of baby’s breath. The installation was both artistic and interactive, creating a stunning first impression as guests entered cocktail hour.
Every detail reflected Sydney and Aaron’s vision for a romantic and thoughtfully curated celebration.
Elegant Reception Design Inside the Oak Room
The reception space inside the Oak Room was nothing short of breathtaking.
Custom place settings from Borrowed Blu paired perfectly with luxurious linens from BBJ La Tavola, creating a sophisticated tablescape that felt both elevated and inviting. Soft candlelight, lush florals, and carefully selected details transformed the space into a romantic garden-inspired dream.
The blend of blush, pink, mauve, and lavender tones carried seamlessly from the ceremony into the reception, creating a cohesive and timeless design throughout the evening.

Dancing the Night Away
After heartfelt toasts and an incredible dinner, it was time to celebrate.
Sydney and Aaron kicked off the dance floor with an energetic hora, instantly filling the room with excitement and laughter. Family and friends surrounded the couple, lifting them high above the crowd as everyone cheered and danced together.
From that moment on, the dance floor remained packed all night long. The energy was contagious, making for an unforgettable celebration that perfectly reflected the joy of the newlyweds and their loved ones.
